Garry Oak (Quercus garryana) at Maple Bay, Vancouver, Island. I chose this tree because thirty five years ago I put a ribbon around the tiny sapling to save it from destruction while the house was being built. Your website is like a pebble being thrown into a pond and spreading ever wider until the whole world wishes for peace in Mexico.
